Linc Property has already notched up $25 million in sales of lots in the first stage of its newest industrial estate, Tonkin Highway Industrial Estate in Bayswater. The $120 million estate, on Railway Parade, is 8km east of the Perth CBD, 3km from Perth Airport, and near the Tonkin Highway which connects to Roe, Reid, Great Eastern and Leach highways.

The train station is 800m from the estate. Raine & Horne Commercial’s Anthony Vulinovich said 28 lots between 1,100sqm and 20,000sqm had sold before the “open market campaign”. The pricing was extremely attractive compared with Osborne Park, Balcatta and Belmont, he said, adding they were the only industrial locations within comparable proximity to the CBD.

Titles for stage one lots were expected later this year, allowing buyers to organise finances, gain approvals and plan for construction in the landscaped estate. He said other highlights included flexible lot sizes, the choice of new branded estate lots compared with older, less-appealing buildings and the proximity of the estate, less than 10km to the CBD. The 36ha Tonkin Highway Industrial Estate is located along the Tonkin Highway between the intersections of Collier and Guildford roads.

Linc Property’s other commercial projects include Landsdale North Industrial Estate, Northlink Industrial Park, Swan Brewery Industrial Estate and the South Central and Midland Central large-format retail centres.  “We have been interested “in the redevelopment of this site for more than 10 years,” Linc director Ben Lisle said. “We have been working with the Bayswater council (to position the estate) as Perth’s best new industrial address.”
